Everytime we are too lazy too cook food or can't wait for the delivery we always go to "Fave". We call it "fave" since it's always are favorite default "carinderia". Its a Tapsilogan in Tomas Mapua. :-)

We also have our favorite default order. We order the usual Torture (a combination of tapa and tocino in egg with 2 rice) for John, and Tosilog (Tocino, Sinangag and Itlog) for me. Plus extra order of soup (whatever is available, either Beef soup, Halo Soup, Tito Soup) and Siomai Soup. Sometime we have the 3-in-1 (3 pcs of siomai plus 1 tokwa).

Tosilog

Siomai soup

Halo Soup

Torture

We ate here yesterday for a very very late breakfast since we woke up at 1. We ordered Torture, Tosilog, Halo Soup and Siomai Soup. Which only costs us P191.

Something Fishy

John and I together with our College Friends (Jen, Breng, Glen) we went to Something Fishy at Eastwood, Libis. I'm shocked to learn that the breakfast buffet already cost P159. Last time I tried this breakfast buffet it was only P99 or P129, that was years ago.

I didn't go for a second serving

Since I'm tired and sleepy I was not able to eat a lot but just enough for me.

Food courtesy of Glen. Thanks!

After gym, we went to my friend's dads' wake. We are still hungry from working out so we decided to stop and eat at a Persian restaurant. It's open for 24hours. The price is quite the same with other Kebab resto. P170 for the chelo kebab and P35 for the avocado shake.
Avocado Shake -- there's a bitter taste but John said it's okay

1. Boil chicken breast and don't throw the broth.
2. Debone the chicken breast

How to cook Chicken Sopas:
1. Heat a cooking pot and put-in the butter. Allow the butter to melt.

3. Put in Chicken Gizzard and cook until brown and soft.
4. Put-in the boneless chicken breasts and cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
5. Sprinkle some salt and ground black pepper and stir.
6. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
7. Pour-in water wait to re-boil. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
8. Add the elbow macaroni and cook for 8 minutes while stirring once in a while.
9. Pour in milk and boil.
10. Turn-off the heat and transfer to a serving plate.
11. Serve hot. Share and enjoy!

You can also add cabbage and carrots if available.

My own version of Chicken Sopas
John said it's not that creamy. So I guess I need to add more butter and milk. And I also forgot to slice the gizzard. I put them as it is. Anyways, there's always a first time. :)

We went to Wai Ying at Benavidez last Tuesday (July 19) right after gym. I believe there are 2 Waiying in the vicinity. One is at WaiYing Benavidez and the other I think is in WaiYing Binondo.

As usual, we ordered our favorite Asado rice, Chicken Mushroom rice, fried wanton, and dimsum (sharksfin).

Asado Rice Topping - John's favorite

Chicken Mushroom Rice Topping - my all time favorite

Fried Wanton - John's new favorite dimsum

Sharksfin - I love all kinds of dimsum

I forgot the price of our food, but they are all relatively cheap - I think it's around P300.

Busy Weekend

Last Friday July 15, I went to John's office to wait for him. I waited at Dunkin Donuts. I was so surprised to see the price of the bunwich (P48) and hot choco (P37). I should have waited at 7-11 instead.
Expensive Dunkin Donut Merienda
Then we had dinner at Sushi-Ya at Robinson's Place. The price is reasonable :)

The next day, Saturday. We went to Makati to get the authority to move-in at East Residence Ortigas. We had lunch at the food court and ordered pancit canton (which is like Birthday noodles) and Mais Con Yelo.

Then we travel to Metrowalk to avail my Ensogo's warts removal voucher.
We then went to East Residence to get the key to our unit.
Then off we went to SM Megamall for dinner. We ate at Dad's since we are kind of very hungry.

After dinner, we watch the last installment of Harry Potter. It's kind of boring. But since this is the last after a decade, we decided to watch it in big screen.

The next day Sunday, another busy day. Went for my "bridesmaid gown measurement taking. This would be the design but in Violet and Yellow belt. :)

After gym, we ate a lot at Inengs. We ordered Tilapia, Chicken, Barbeque, Mais & sago con yelo, ensaladang talong.

Then we went to CCF to attend church service.

We had our dinner at Bacolod Chicken Inasal, ordered Danggit, Chicken, Molo soup.

After dinner, we are ready to go home. However, a lot of people are also going home so it's hard to get out of the parking lot. So I decided to have my dessert at Cheesecake in Podium.

Well, that concludes our very busy and stomach-filling weekend! We vow to rest this Saturday. ;)

Feast @ Vikings

Achi treated us for her promotion @ Vikings , Mall of Asia. The Eat-all-u-can dinner cost is P888 + 5% service charge. The place is huge but still a lot of people are coming here to eat. Despite the rainy weather we still waited for almost 2hours. We started eating around 9pm then at 10:30 we were asked to get our last share of food. There are lots of food to choose from Japanese, Chinese, American, Italian, Filipino. There's also hotpot soups and fishes for grilling. And of course the desserts, there's a lot to choose from.Choices are like Sofitel's SPIRAL but a lot cheaper. A good find indeed :)

Next time we need to reserve seats to be able to fully enjoy the food ^-^

Savory - Peri peri chicken

Monday, July 4, 2011 0 comments
After a very tiring travel yesterday (July 3) from Manila to Bulacan to Ortigas. We had our super late lunch @ Savory. We ordered a combo meal good for 2. Which costs us 400+. I even forgot to take the picture of the actual food since I'm so super hungry. I'll be biased since I'm hungry but it's actually good.

And then we attend church worship at 4:30-6:00.
After the service we went to the grocery and bought ticket for Transformers.

Then we had dinner at Peri-peri chicken.
We already dine at peri-peri before but this one I think is different.

I like their soup and drink all you can promo. Though, I'm not a fan of soups I love their brocolli soup next is the Corn soup. The mushroom soup tastes like the Knorr mushroom soup.

For the drinks, I only got one glass of strawberry iced tea and a cup of Japanese hot tea.

While waiting

Our food, we got corn and carrots, mixed veggies, java rice and leche flan for the side dishes.

Then we're ready for Transformers 3!

Fatless

After our passport renewal last Friday July 1 we had our lunch at "Fatless Shabu Shabu". Actually, it's our breakfast but Mcdo only offer breakfast meals till 10:30.

We had the Chicken & Fish Fillet

Seafood Noodles

I even had an avocado shake for a satisfying drink.

Actually, we are quite full already after the chicken and fish fillet shabu shabu. But we still ordered seafood noodles. The meal only costs us P400+

We probably won't be coming back unless we'll renew our passport again.
