Pepper steak house

We had lunch last Saturday (Dec 10) together with my sister at Pepper Steak House. We all ordered a variety of beef.

I love how the ordering works... You need to "Moo-oove" and the waiter will come at your table.

After ordering you can now select the Stop

So we ordered sizzling beef food, John had the beef with mushroom, May had the pepper rice, and I had the "Gyuniko"something - it's beef as well with egg yolk on top.

And added an extra order of Fish and chips.

Our bill is almost P1k, good thing it accepts Sodexo gift cert ^-^

Chicken Lugaw

Chicken Lugaw or Chicken Arrozcaldo (whichever you prefer to call it)

Ingredients:
Garlic
Onion
Ginger
Patis
Chicken
Chicken Cubes
Rice

How to make the broth:
- Boil Chicken, remove the fats

Procedure:
1. Saute Garlic, Onion and Ginger
2. Add shredded chicken then add patis or fish sauce
3. Add rice
4. Add the broth
5. Add Chicken cubes

So that's it! Easiest way to cook the chicken lugaw or arrozcaldo

The pic doesn't look good, but not the taste ;)

Boracay Food

Thursday, October 20, 2011 0 comments
While waiting for the Kalibo to Caticlan bus transfer I ate breakfast at a nearby coffee shop. John drank the black coffee while I had the longsilog.

We walked the long stretch of Boracay stations for lunch.Even though we are hungry it's hard to choose on where to eat. Then a lady approach us with Free lunch at Astoria Boracay. Just to present their business vacation proposal. We willingly obliged since we have nothing to do and tried not to be rude in declining their offer.

After almost 4hours of talk we finally went back to the resort. We had ice cream on our way back.

For dinner that day, we had buffet for P250. We ate a lot of shrimp, oyster and clams.

And of course not to forget the dessert. We had milk shakes. Banana+chocolate and Mango milkshake.

The next morning (Oct 14) , we had the included breakfast at the hotel. I had the ham while John got the longanisa.

We had lunch during the Island hopping. Food here is expensive, really! We had the Fish tinola (P400), Squid for (P200)

Then after that, John suddenly experienced stomache which ruined our vacation :(

But during dinner, he felt well so we ate dinner at Paradise Garden Resort in Station 3. Their buffet is different than the rest so we tried it for P375. I so love their big crablets, its my first time to ate a lot.

We didn't get the breakfast the next day since John is still experiencing diarrhea. :( But upon arriving home, he suddenly felt good and okay. And ate a lot of the Trappist Mango bars.

Anyways, while waiting for Ambers (Pancit malabon, Pichi pichi with cheese, chicken lollipop, and Lumpiang shanghai) we decided to have merienda and ended up at Papa John's.

We ordered Small size of pizza (seafood), mushroom soup, BBQ pork ribs and Potato wedges.

Birthday Weekend

We treat our college friends to an Eat-All-You-Can at my favorite eat all you can resto. I super love this resto because I think we got our money's worth since we can grill a lot of seafoods and I get to eat a lot! I think they love it as well especially Yui -- who is so entertained with the cooking of food.

After that we went to Figaro for a drink of coffee/tea. And have a taste of Ramz' banana cake.

Then to Daungan at Tomas Morato for Beer and cocktail with Fries and nachos. If not for the oldies song we could have stayed here. Food and drinks courtesy of Breng :)

Then Mcdo for breakfast, we had burger, fries, nuggets (courtesy of Ramz)
