i have Ilocano roots but guess I never learn how to cook their specialty --- Pakbet or Pinakbet.

Since I need to eat healthy, we bought vegetables. So we picked from the grocery mixed vegetables for pinakbet.

what i did is just saute garlic, onion, then add pork meat. Then let it simmer and once its tender add the tomato. then I put the squash when its soft I then add the remaining vegetables. (ampalaya, sitaw, eggplant, etc... ) note that once you add ampalaya do not stir the food or it will have bitter taste. then add the alamang for taste. i also added pork meat cubes for more meatier taste. hehe.
